Holiday Tax Break at Fox & Dragon Hobbies

Celebrate the season and save big with the Holiday Tax Break at Fox & Dragon Hobbies! From December 14, 2024, to February 15, 2025, all Canadian retailers—including us—are offering GST/HST tax relief on specific items based on the guidelines set forth by the Government of Canada. To make your shopping easier, we’ve carefully tagged all the in-stock items that we believe qualify for this tax exemption.

As a temporary addition to the tax exemption, we are going to pay the tax on EVERYTHING else for you! We know how hard the holidays can be with the current financial climate and we hope to make it just a little easier on you this holiday.

How It Works

We’ve tagged all eligible in-stock items in our online shop to ensure you can easily identify which products qualify for the tax break. Simply search for "tax free" or browse the TAX HOLIDAY collection. Please note the following:

• Only in-stock items are eligible. If an item is sold out, it may not be tagged as tax-exempt, even if it would otherwise qualify.

• The tax break applies only to items paid for and delivered during the tax holiday period.

• Items not marked as tax-exempt at the time of purchase are not eligible for retroactive adjustments.

Included Items

The following categories qualify for the Holiday Tax Break:

• Candy/Snacks/Food

• Games for Ages <14: Includes board games, card games, and TCGs

• Toys & Figures for Ages <14: Includes action figures, Funko Pops, and more.

• Puzzles & Fidgets for All Ages: Includes jigsaw puzzles, fidget spinners, Pop-its.

• Plush Toys

Items Not Included

Certain items are not eligible for the tax break, including:

• Card Box Dividers

• Card sleeves

• Items for ages 14+ (e.g., statues, Good Smile Company, Bring Arts)

• Collectible trading cards (sports, non-sport, etc.)

• Items solely intended as collectibles rather than for play

Important Notes

• Retroactive Adjustments: We cannot retroactively apply the tax break to past purchases or items not marked at the time of checkout.
